Win a Limited Edition 65th Anniversary Cannes Bag

Cannesbag_thumb

These bags have not and never will be on sale. This is your chance.

This accessory will signal your worth and status to business colleagues, potential mates, peers and predators. As we well know, now that we have risen above mere animalistic tendencies, humans assert themselves in their cognitive abilities and capacity for... je ne sais quoi.

A talent for sophisticated and elaborate storytelling is a prerequisite for carrying off this look. A (wo)man lacking in wit and imagination will simply be drowned in the tides of expectation such an accessory will engender on entering a room - and therefore should not attempt to enter this competition. A person of the calibre required will have no qualms about asserting their superiority.

Is this you? Tell us why you deserve this bag - and how you would give /it/ what /it/ deserves too.

As someone who has promenaded along the seafront at Cannes on numerous occasions, I would know how to rock this bag with style and decorum. On me, this bag would feel as though it was coming home.

I deserve to have this bag because I really, really want it. And if I win it, I'll put stuff in it.

I am not a real woman: I balk at spending £500 on bags that look like something thrown up by Alien, in leather. I can't even wear fancy shoes; I tried on a pair of Louboutins once and they made me walk as if I was carrying a Scotch egg in my pants.
But a sleek cannesbag doesn't say "I have more money than sense". It says "I may never walk along the Croisette, telling my mate Angelina that she is too pretty for tattoos that make her look as if her children have scribbled on her in biro - but I know a bag that has."
And in return I promise never to fill it with used hankies, tickets to JLS, or hooky dvds from the Barras.

Why limit the life of such a magnificent item to that of it's intended purpose? I'd wine it and dine it, maybe let it have the empty half of my bed from time to time. Spoil it with flowers and chocolates (and not the nasty ones you get at petrol stations). Maybe occasionally carry it around in other bags to show how important it really is to me. You have to see the full beauty of everything, this isn't just a bag, an accessory, a trophy... it's a life partner.

I believe this bag should be mine because i am truly the only person who can have this bag fulfill it's true potential, with this bag i shall snare potential mates , with this bag i shall gain entry to places that other's cant but most of all with this bag i will hold a power that none else possess and finally i SHALL rule the world :)

I deserve this bag as I don't have a shiny patent bag yet (and considering I have hundreds of bags, this is not right), and the bag deserves me as I will polish it and feed it with luxurious contents. Plus, i've never had time to get to Cannes :-(
