Best Large Event at the Scottish Event Awards 2009

Glasgow Film Festival fought off tough competition to secure the Best Large Event award on Friday night and also received a special commendation in the Best Marketing Strategy section.

The festival team are delighted to have their efforts recognised and hope this sets the scene for yet another bumper year in 2010.  The festival would like to thank our key funders and sponsors Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Visit Scotland and Scottish Screen and all our partners, friends and of course our dedicated film fans.
