Fans of Joss Whedon will be delighted to hear that we have put on a second screening of the director’s Much Ado About Nothing on the same day as the UK Premiere, which will be this year’s GFF Closing Gala.

Tickets for the UK Premiere of Whedon’s latest film sold out within an hour of going on sale on Thursday 17 January; long before the cult director himself was confirmed as attending the Festival. This second screening will be at Cineworld on Glasgow’s Renfrew Street, on Sunday 24 February at 20.45, and tickets are going on sale immediately, via Glasgow Film Theatre’s Box Office. Fans are advised to book online at www.glasgowfilm.org/festival, and that ticket numbers are limited.

Allison Gardner, co-director of Glasgow Film Festival, said:
“We’re over the moon to be able to offer fans another opportunity to catch this wonderful and highly in-demand film."

Much Ado About Nothing is on general UK release from Friday 14 June.

Hi so glad there is another showing as I missed out on the first batch of tickets. I was wondering if these will also include entry to the gala party as was the case with the gift showing?

    Hi Ashley,

Unfortunately due to capacity, tickets for this screening do not include entry to the closing party.

    Best,

    Jane
