It is fifty years since the BBC launched Doctor Who in November 1963 and it remains an essential part of family viewing. We celebrate the anniversary with BAFTA-nominated Doctor Who screenwriter Tom MacRae. Tom is the creator of Comedy Central hit Threesome, an award-winning children’s author and creator of the Doctor Who stage spectacular The Crash of the Elysium. His Doctor Who television credits include the two-part Rise of the Cybermen, The Age of Steel and The Girl Who Waited.

Tom has selected his favourite Doctor Who episode, of the ones that he's written, to screen and we hope to also welcome a cast member to this special event.

Dr Who screenwriter Tom MacRae will introduce 50 Years of Doctor Who and participate in a Q&A following the screening.
