Hire Glasgow film Theatre

GFT is situated in the heart of Glasgow, just a stone’s throw from bustling Sauchiehall Street and The Glasgow School of Art. We have two raked theatre-style auditoria (with a third currently being built) and a learning room, all of which are available for private hire for a number of different purposes. We can host corporate events, product launches, private screenings, cast and crew screenings, conferences, gaming parties, meetings and briefings.

If you hire a space, why not take advantage of our state-of-the-art facilities? GFT is equipped with cutting-edge audio visual digital and 35mm film projection, with PowerPoint and internet access also available through our screens. We offer technical assistance with all hires and have a full range of microphones at your disposal.

We have a range of excellent wines and organic ice-cream available to take into the cinema as part of our hospitality services. So whether you’re looking for a venue for a one-off celebration or something more formal, GFT can accommodate you and guarantee a unique experience.

Cinema 1:

Our main cinema screen seats 394 with 4 wheelchair spaces available along with wheelchair access via our elevator. This cinema runs an infrared system for the hard of hearing. There is a baby grand piano and internet access is available.

Projection: 2k digital, 35mm, 70mm, Panavision 3D System, Beta SP, Digibeta (£50 charge), DVD, Blu-Ray, VHS, and laptop presentation

Cinema 2:

This screen seats 142 with 2 wheelchair spaces available. Much like Cinema 1 we have full wheelchair access to this screen along with infrared headsets and a baby grand piano. Internet access is also available.

Cinema 3:

Our third cinema screen is currently being built. It will be available to hire from November 2013. This screen will seat 60 with flexible space for 2 wheelchairs. Infrared headsets and internet access will also be available.

Projection: 2k digital, Beta SP, Digibeta (£50 charge), DVD, Blu-Ray and laptop presentation

GFT Learning Room:

Our Learning Room seats 18 people and is equipped with internet access, Blu-Ray, DVD, Data and VHS projection to a wall mounted screen, plus a whiteboard and flip-chart. This is the ideal location for meetings, interviews and courses.
