Big Arts Give 2012

We are very happy to announce that we raised an incredible £12,427 through The Big Give Arts Christmas Challenge!

From 6-10 December 2010, you, our dear audiences and supporters rallied round our appeal for Glasgow Youth Film Festival 2011. Each £1 you gave was matched by The Big Give, meaning your donations were doubled. We are very touched that you responded to our appeal and we're all incredibly grateful for your support.

Your contributions will go towards supporting the worthwhile activities of Glasgow Youth Film Festival, Europe's most innovative film festival for young audiences. GYFF offers thousands of young people, from toddlers to teenagers, the opportunity to experience the magic of world cinema and to learn from industry professionals at exciting and accessible events. The Festival challenges negative perceptions of young Glaswegians by highlighting the filmmaking talent and ambition of young people all over the city and provides free film workshops in the heart of communities including Castlemilk, Easterhouse and Govan. Most importantly, GYFF is programmed entirely by young people aged 15–19-years-old.

Glasgow Youth Film Festival takes place each February, you can browse the 2012 programme here.

Everyone who donated was invited to a special GYFF event and personally thanked in both GFT's 2010 March brochure and 2011 Glasgow Film Festival Annual Review.

Thank you so much for all your help!
