We are seeking a dynamic and driven Partnerships Coordinator who will work to develop commercial partnerships resulting in increased revenue and opportunities for Glasgow Film Festival and Glasgow Youth Film Festival. As post holder, you will source corporate sponsorship opportunities, fundraising, event partner collaborations, advertising, and develop innovative ideas for new income streams. You will possess a clear understanding of festival sponsorship combined with experience of negotiation, sales, pitching ideas to clients. A genuine passion for the arts, film and cultural events is required, alongside the desire to work with a target driven approach .

We are seeking an Event Coordinator to work closely with the entire Festival team to ensure that all special Festival events and screenings are effectively planned and delivered. You will source and book venues, contribute to programming ideas, coordinate key pop-up cinema events as well as our Opening and Closing Galas, build and motivate the team and work closely with internal departments to facilitate the flow of information about planned events. Oral History Project Assistants (Part-time)
Monday 25 August - Monday 24 November

We are seeking twelve dynamic and driven volunteers who will assist us in researching and recording cinema-going memories from members in the greater Glasgow community. This will form part of the Cinema City Exhibition which will take place during the Glasgow Film Festival in February 2015.
Training in gathering and recording the memories will be provided by the Strathclyde Oral History Centre and a Certificate is awarded to each volunteer upon successful completion of the training. Other opportunities may be available to assist with the project including research relating to cinematography equipment.
Work hours are flexible but we would ask you to commit to a minimum of 12 hours a month over a 3 month period. You will work from home using your own computer and phone. Must be able to commit for the length of the project and be available to attend a 2-day training session in Oral History Methods and Practice on Tuesday 26 August and Thursday 28 August, venue to be confirmed.
