HOW TO BOOK FOR SCHOOL EVENTS
1. Select your chosen event from our listings
All our schools listings suggest links to curriculum areas and specify what school year groups the event is tailored to. Films not certified by the BBFC are marked N/C and accompanied by an age recommendation, e.g. N/C 8 + is suitable for ages 8 and older and no one under 8 will be admitted. Certain films also specify content advisory. We are happy to speak to you further about this before you book - please contact our programme coordinator, Helen Wright, by emailing email@example.com if you wish to discuss any particular film.
2. Click ‘reserve places’
You will be asked to fill in a booking form. A separate application form must be completed for each screening/event.
If your booking form has been sent successfully, a note of thanks will appear on the screen. Please note this is not a booking confirmation.
GFT Box Office will try to reply to all school reservations within 5 working days. Your patience is appreciated.
3. Booking confirmations and invoices will be sent out by email along with a booking confirmation number
Please bring your booking confirmation email with you to the screening. In the unlikely event that we have not responded to your request within five working days please contact the GFT Duty Manager on 0141 352 8603 (after 12 noon).
Please note schools are responsible for arranging their own transport to screenings and events.
Cancellations must be notified by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only cancellations received in writing 14 days before the event will be eligible for a refund.
Places can be in great demand for free screenings and may occasionally be limited. If you are unable to use all your places, please let us know immediately so that we can reallocate them.
A cancellation fee of £50 will be incurred if a booking is cancelled less than two weeks before the screening or if you fail to show up on the day.
