Adapted from the celebrated graphic novel, The Rabbi's Cat tells the story of a rabbi and his feline philosopher. After devouring the family parrot, the rabbi's cat gains the ability to speak – much to his master's disapproval. The rabbi vows to educate him in the ways of the Torah but the cat is more interested in his Bar Mitzvah. When a mysterious stranger arrives in the city, the Rabbi and his companion set off on a journey into the unknown heart of Africa.
