Celebrate 50 years of GFT by donating £50. Shape the next 50 years of independent film. Your contribution matters. 

2024 marks a monumental milestone for us at Glasgow Film - 50 incredible years of bringing Cinema For All to our communities. But did you know that behind the magic lies a registered not for profit charity in need of your support? 

Whilst our box office and bar sales only cover around 50% of our annual costs and help keep the film reels rolling, we rely on donations and fundraising to run our education and community activities. We need your help! 

Your donation isn't just a gift; it's an investment in the future of Glasgow Film Theatre and the vibrant community it serves. Together, let's ensure that Cinema For All remains a reality for generations to come.

Every penny raised will help us to deliver activities such as:

•Ensuring that over 5000 children and young people can attend free film screenings and events every year.

•Nurturing future generations of film fans and filmmaking talent through learning and training initiatives.

•Providing a safe space for our inclusive screenings such as autism friendly, dementia friendly and deaf and hard of hearing.

•Hosting filmmaker Q&A’s that inspire and entertain our audiences.

•Keeping running the Glasgow Film Festival.

As a thank you for your £50 donation, you will receive:

•An invitation to a special screening on January 14, 2025.  The screening will be at approximately 6pm and will be announced in December 2024. Everyone who donates a singular payment of £50 or above will be invited.

•A named thank you on our dedicated £50 for 50 campaign website page and in cinema trailer.

For every donation of £50 will receive one invite to our special screening and one named person added to our website and trailer.
