Groucho Marx has immense fun as Rufus T. Firefly, the new dictator of the fictional nation of Freedonia. He sparks a war with neighbouring Sylvania over his love for his wealthy backer, Mrs Teasdale (the brothers’ regular collaborator, Margaret Dumont). Chico and Harpo, meanwhile, play Sylvanian spies sent to investigate.
