Scorsese on Scorsese: Ian Christie in Conversation

To mark our anniversary year, we'll have a special edition of our long-running Scorsese of the Month programme for May, featuring a Scorsese on Scorsese: In Conversation event with Ian Christie. As editor of the seminal book, Scorsese on Scorsese, Professor Ian Christie will discuss his many interviews and on-set experiences with Martin Scorsese and offer his insights on the director’s unique place in American cinema. All tickets £6.50 Professor Ian Christie will also introduce our 35mm screening of Scorsese's Kundun on Monday 27 May at 7.45pm. --------------- Year of Celebration: 2024 marks 85 years since our cinema (originally the Cosmo) was built, 50 years since GFT was founded and the 20th edition of Glasgow Film Festival. We are celebrating with a programme of special screenings taking place throughout May, showcasing films that have been hugely popular with audiences and have played a unique role in the history of GFT over the past five decades.
