Refugee Festival Scotland
Marking 25 years of Refugee Festival Scotland, this year's theme "milestone" invites celebration of personal and community milestones as well as the cultural richness in communities across Scotland. We have two Sliding Scale Screenings in this programme. On Monday you can watch the first ever Iranian Oscar nominated film Children of Heaven (1997). We will be screening it again on Thursday afternoon when Garnethill Multicultural Centre present their short film created with Tricky Hat Productions as part of the Listening to Our City project. On Wednesday evening Central West Integration Network’s community members present the Glasgow Film Club Takeover: Winners (2022).
All screenings are Sliding Scale ticketing Free - £10 (Pay What You Can). Both films have been chonsen by members of CWIN and Garnethill Multicultural's Conversation Cafe.
