Terms

General Terms & Conditions

1. Please note that Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT), Glasgow Film Festival (GFF) and Glasgow Youth Festival (GYFF) tickets are non-refundable. Refunds will only be made in the event of a performance being cancelled.
2. At the discretion of the manager, GFT tickets may be exchanged for another performance or for User Credit that can be redeemed on future ticket purchases.  This exchange must be processed no later than two hours before the start time of the original film. If tickets are not of equal value, any additional cost will also be charged, or, in the case of an exchange from a more expensive ticket to a cheaper one, the outstanding amount will be returned as user credit. GFF tickets can only be exchanged under exceptional circumstances, again at the discretion of the manager.
3. Programme listings may be subject to change. Please view our listings here for the most up-to-date information.
4. Please request any concessions at the time of purchase. Concessions cannot be applied after purchase. Proof of concession status will be requested when purchasing or collecting tickets.
   Please note that student discounts are applicable for full-time students only.
5. Entry for any given performance is permitted up to 15 minutes after the advertised start time. Late entry for ticket-holders is at the discretion of the Duty Manager. Cinema Managers reserve the right of admission and their decision is final. 
   Please note that GFF performances are not preceded by adverts and trailers, starting promptly at the stated time. Ticket-holders will not be admitted after the advertised time.
6. During film screenings, we request patrons refrain from talking or making noises that could distract others and also from using any form of light source which could affect the enjoyment of fellow audience members. The use of mobile phones and e-cigarettes is not permitted in the cinema. This is due to the emission of light from such items which can spoil enjoyment of the film for others.
7. All seats are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.
8. Hot food is not permitted to be consumed within our auditoria.
9. For licensing and health & safety purposes, we do not permit alcohol purchased outwith GFT to be consumed on the premises. This also extends to GFT/GFF/GYFF performances taking place at external venues. Where appropriate, bar facilities will be provided at special events for the purchase of alcohol. Please check specific performance listings for information. Please note that bag checks may be carried out by stewards at GFT and GFF events. Alcohol and/or glass bottles will be confiscated and returned to owners at the end of a given performance.
10. Please note that GFT does not offer any storage facilities for personal or luggage items.
11. For special event performances taking place outwith Glasgow Film Theatre tickets will be available for collection from the GFT Box Office up to two hours prior to doors open time. After which time, tickets can be collected from the venue one hour before doors open time.
12. All admission prices are subject to change.

1. CEA card holders may purchase their ticket plus carer ticket in person at the box office or by phone. This is subject to availability and is not available online.
2. All access requests including wheelchair spaces must be confirmed with GFT Box Office. Booking online does not guarantee or indicate specific access needs as the majority of performances are unreserved seating.

Gift Cards

1. All tickets, memberships and services are subject to availability.
2. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used to purchase both GFT and GFF tickets/memberships. Please note that gift cards cannot be extended beyond their expiry date.
3. GFT reserves the right to restrict the use of gift cards in the event of exceptional circumstances.
4. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or further gift cards.
5. Gift cards cannot be redeemed at the GFT bar or external venue bars.
6. Gift cards may not be redeemed against the value of previously purchased tickets.
7. Gift cards can be exchanged in person at the Box Office, online or over the phone.
8. Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards will not be reissued. Gift cards are sent through the post at the customer’s own risk. Gift Vouchers purchased over the phone can be posted at additional charge for Royal Mail first or second class recorded delivery.

Memberships

1. Cinecard and Cinecard+ memberships are valid for 12 months from their start date and cannot be extended past this expiry date.
2. 15-25 memberships are valid from 15 years until the day before the membership-holder's 26th birthday.
3. Valid proof of age identification is required when applying for a 15-25 membership.
4. Please note that 15-25 memberships can take up to 5 working days of application to create and cannot be created shortly before a screening start time.
5. A GFT account with a valid e-mail address must be attached to memberships to allow full access to online Cinecard/Cinecard+/15-25 benefits.

1. Members are eligible for £6.40 tickets on GFT standard-priced performances. The discount applies to Student ticket types.
2. 15-25 discount is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
3. Discount valid once per performance per member.

Loyalty Points

1. Loyalty points are generated by Cinecard, CInecard+ and 15-25 memberships at 5 points (£0.05) per pound, per Box Office transaction.
2. Loyalty points expire 12 months after they're generated.
3. Points can only be redeemed against the whole price of standard-priced tickets for GFT performances and cannot be used to discount ticket prices.
   For example, a Cinecard/Cinecard+ adult member ticket costing £10.40 would require 1040 points to be redeemed.
4. Tickets for Glasgow Film Festival cannot be purchased using loyalty points. However, points will be accrued for tickets purchased for GFF performances.
5. Loyalty points cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Loyalty points are not generated by bar transactions and cannot be redeemed at the bar.
7. Memberships must be declared at the box office at the time of purchase to receive loyalty points. Points cannot be credited to an account after a transaction has been completed.
