The Oslo Stories Trilogy

Love, Sex & Dreams brings together the ambitious three-part project from acclaimed Norwegian novelist-turned-filmmaker Dag Johan Haugerud. Three thematically interwoven films exist as nuanced character studies, each offering a delicate exploration of connection and intimacy.

Dreams, which focuses on the relationship between a 17-year-old girl and her French teacher won the Golden Bear Award at this year's Berlinale. Love follows the relationship and sexual experiences between a heterosexual urologist and her gay colleague; Meanwhile, Sex tells the compelling story of two men in committed heterosexual relationships who, after an unexpected experience, are prompted to reflect on their own sexuality, gender, and sense of identity.
