Accessibility details for other GFF25 venues can be found below:
- Adelaide Place: The accessible entrance is located on the side of the building (Bath Street). Accessible toilet is located on the ground floor. Ramp to main stage is located to the left of the stage. There is no access to the upper level seating.
- Cineworld Renfrew Street: An Accessible door at the front entrance is to the right of the revolving door. 2 lifts are located to the left after entering the building. Cinemas 1 & 2 are located to the right as you exit the lift on floor 3. Accessible toilets are located to the left, past cinemas 1 & 2. In case of fire/emergency evacuation, Cineworld staff have access to evacuation chairs and are trained to operate them. Screening Room 1 and 2 both have two wheelchair spaces.
- Cottiers Theatre: Cottiers Theatre is wheelchair accessible via the beer garden entrance, with accessible toilets available.
- Edward House: Edward House is wheelchair accessible, however toilets are not open to the public.
- Glee Club: Accessible via lift at main entrance. Venue space has accessible toilet & a ramp for access to main venue.
- Grand Ole Opry: Accessible entrance located on side of the building, with access to accessible toilet.
- Hilton Double Tree: Accessible main entrance with access to accessible toilets.
- The Social Hub: All rooms at The Social Hub Glasgow are wheelchair accessible, as is the main entrance on Brunswick Street and the restaurant & bar entrance on Trongate.
Accessible Bookings
People with access needs can contact us either by phone or email to book tickets. Glasgow Film Festival accepts the CEA card, enabling the cardholder to receive a complimentary ticket for their essential companion. CEA tickets must be booked in person or over the phone.

BSL users can contact GFF via contact SCOTLAND-BSL, the online British Sign Language interpreting video relay service.
Accessible Screenings
Captions (dialogue and off-screen sounds) and subtitles (dialogue) can enable d/Deaf people, people with varying hearing loss and people whose first language is not English, to access and enjoy a fuller cinematic experience. Free Screenings and Events
To make the cinematic experience more accessible for everyone, GFF features several free or low-price screenings.
The always popular Retrospective strand offers a selection of free morning screenings of modern masterpieces and cult classics. The theme of the programme this year is Our Time is Now: Coming of Age in the Movies. Taking place at 10:30am, tickets for each of the retrospective films are available from the Box Office on the day of the screening.
We also offer a range of free industry and film events throughout the festival, including a range of sessions for young people interested in a career in film. More information about these events can be found here.
