A true character actor, Donald Sutherland made an outstanding contribution to cinema over his rich and varied career, starring in almost 200 films and TV shows. In this season, we celebrate his legacy with a small selection of his most powerful performances: as the father of a suicidal son in Ordinary People (1980), as an average-Joe-turned-hero in sci fi horror Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and as a father tormented by grief in Don't Look Now.
