Getting Here

It’s easy to find us. We’re right in the city centre just off Sauchiehall Street. Glasgow Film Theatre 12 Rose Street Glasgow G3 6RB

By Subway: Nearest subway is Cowcaddens. See subway information.

By Bus: Local bus services stop close to the cinema. See bus information.

By Train: Glasgow city centre is served by both Central and Queen Street Stations. TransPennine Express offer a handy guide to visiting Glasgow by train, or visit National Rail.

By Bike: Google Maps has a cycle planner. Click 'get directions' and select the bike to plan your cycling route to GFT. Bike racks are located across the street from GFT.

Car Parking

Closest public parking is the supervised 24-hour multi-storey car park in Cambridge Street. There is limited, metered, on-street parking opposite GFT.

Certification

Films at GFT are categorised according to BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) age rating certificates – more information on categories is available at https://www.bbfc.co.uk/our-age-ratings

Films awaiting BBFC certification are marked ‘CTBC’ (Certificate to be confirmed).

The Licensing Authority for Glasgow City Council permits certain uncertified films to be shown at GFT on such conditions as they have laid down. Films not being certified by BBFC are marked N/C (not certified) and accompanied by age appropriate guidance eg. N/C 15+ (suitable for those age 15 and older, no-one under 15 will be admitted).
